POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Store Manager exemplifies leadership through effective delegation and active participation in all store functions. This role emphasizes a commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork. The manager upholds integrity by adhering to company policies and is accountable for store performance, ensuring all team members are treated with respect and fairness. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize profitability and oversee daily store operations, ensuring staff meet production targets.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for both employees and customers.
  • Manage hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, and terminations.
  • Handle payroll and timekeeping responsibilities.
  • Ensure achievement of production and sales objectives.
  • Oversee store closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and securing the facility.
  • Monitor expenses to maintain budgetary control while enhancing sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of store operations, including daily sales, cash deposits, and opening/closing documentation.
  • Engage in customer service and cash register operations.
  • Manage the receiving, pricing, and stocking of donations, with physical demands as necessary.
  • Oversee the inspection, tagging, and display of textiles and clothing in a production-oriented environment.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Requires two to three years of management or assistant management experience with cash handling responsibilities.

WORKING HOURS: Retail locations operate Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and open at 1 PM on Sundays.
