Your Role:

As a Retail Operations Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service while maintaining a well-organized and stocked store environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and guide associates in delivering courteous, efficient, and professional service to all customers.
  • Analyze store performance metrics, profitability, and operational plans to enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Implement and advocate for strategic safety and security measures to protect assets and ensure a safe shopping experience.

The Retail Operations Leader manages comprehensive store functions, including expense management, merchandising standards, compliance, safety, security, and workforce management, all aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction, sales, and profit margins.

This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams in Human Resources, Asset Protection, and Operations to align with Lowe's overarching business strategy.

To thrive in this role, you must cultivate a positive store culture in partnership with key stakeholders, fostering an environment where employees feel engaged and motivated.

Travel Expectations:
This position typically does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be necessary for meetings, training sessions, or to assist nearby locations.


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience leading teams in a large retail setting with annual sales exceeding $20 million.
- At least 5 years of experience in a dynamic, cross-functional work environment.
- Proven ability to build and sustain relationships across various functions in a matrixed organization.
- Experience in analyzing customer, market, and competitor data to guide decision-making and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with managing corporate or local change initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to obtain necessary sales-related licenses as required by law.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in managing within the home improvement retail sector.
- Proven track record of building community partnerships.
- Experience in leadership roles across multiple store formats or complexities.

If applicable, candidates must either possess or be able to obtain a salesperson license within sixty (60) days of starting this position.
