Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hyatt Place Columbus/OSU. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for creating a memorable experience for our guests by providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, verifying registration information and balancing bank accounts.
  • Assist guests with luggage, coffee, directions, and other requests, going above and beyond to ensure their stay is enjoyable.
  • Answer hotel telephones and respond to guest inquiries, providing information on hotel services and amenities.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests, adhering to recipe and presentation standards.
  • Assist with meeting space setup, production, and tear down, ensuring a seamless experience for our social and business guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, clearing tables and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong command of the English language, including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment with constant guest interaction.
  • Must be able to multi-task and lift moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs).
  • Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Customer service experience preferred, preferably in a hotel or related field.
