**Job Summary**

Breakthru Beverage Group seeks an experienced Fleet Operations Director to lead our national trucking fleet management team. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of our expansive fleet of 1600+ vehicles, including cargo vans, box trucks, and tractor trailers.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Fleet Operations Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic fleet management plans aligned with company objectives, focusing on cost optimization, fuel efficiency, and vehicle longevity.

- Manage and maintain our national trucking fleet, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

- Supervise and coordinate with vendors and procurement teams, leading negotiations for fleet acquisitions and disposals.

- Establish a preventive maintenance program and oversee its application for fleet reliability.

- Utilize fleet management software for tracking, analyzing fleet performance, and monitoring KPIs.

- Conduct long-term financial and capital planning related to fleet management.

- Develop relationships with external stakeholders (suppliers, vendors, regulatory authorities) to ensure industry standards and regulations compliance.

- Evaluate, implement, and maintain new technologies to improve fleet management, including GPS tracking, telematics, and fleet management software.

- Initiate environment-friendly initiatives, monitor fleet's carbon footprint, and report on sustainability efforts.

**Requirements**

We are seeking a results-driven professional with a strong background in fleet management, preferably with experience managing a large-scale, national trucking fleet. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation and financial planning skills, as well as strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Bachelors degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.

- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in fleet management or a related field.

- Experience managing a large-scale, national trucking fleet.

- Proficiency in fleet management software and KPI tracking.

- Knowledge of relevant environmental and safety laws and regulations.

- Exceptional negotiation and financial planning skills.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs.

**Salary**

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards for a Fleet Operations Director in the United States.

**Location**

This role can be based from most Breakthru Beverage office locations, with the option to work in a hybrid capacity (two days in the office, three days from home).
