As a Registered Nurse on our Meal Break Team at John Muir Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team, working part-time hours on an 8-hour night shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing the needs of our patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models to create a compassionate healing environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 6 months of acute care experience preferred.
- 1000 hours of medical/surgical experience within the last 2 years (non-core requirement).
- RN registered nursing licensure in California.
- BLS basic life support certification from the American Heart Association.
- NIHSS national institute of health stroke scale competency (achieved by the end of orientation and maintained annually).
