About the Role:
- Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing the needs of our patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models to create a compassionate healing environment.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- 6 Months Nursing - Acute Care - Preferred
- 1000 hours Nursing - Medical/Surgical - Must be Obtained within last 2 years - Non-core Requirement
- RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing - Required
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
- NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale - No Issuing Agency Certification - Achieved by the end of orientation to the assigned area - Required
- NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale - No Issuing Agency Competency - Successful completion on an annual basis - Required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must meet clinical core qualifications within 24 months.
- Must demonstrate competency in the care of medical surgical and telemetry patients.
