At John Muir Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and creating a compassionate healing environment. As a Registered Nurse on our Medical Surgical Acute Care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, delegate, and coordinate the nursing care of a group of patients during a designated time frame.
- Provide rest and meal relief to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Utilize the John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care, ANA's Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, and the California Nurse Practice Act to guide your practice.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- 6 Months Nursing - Acute Care experience preferred.
- 1000 hours Nursing - Medical/Surgical experience must be obtained within the last 2 years.
- RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing licensure required.
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association certification required.
- NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale competency required.
Our Medical Surgical Acute Care team operates on a part-time schedule, with 32 scheduled weekly hours. The work shift is from 22:30 to 04:00, with no waiver.
Compensation:The hourly pay range for this position is $99.73, with amounts based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
