Duties and Responsibilities:

Level I: Hourly Rate of $21.00
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations set forth by the company and local authorities.
  • Utilize a variety of materials including urethanes, water-based paints, oil-based paints, stains, lacquers, and epoxies.
  • Employ industry-standard tools such as spray guns, airless sprayers, sanders, grinders, and power washers.
  • Prepare, set up, and clean up painting operations, ensuring tools and workspaces are maintained.
  • Assist in the organization and upkeep of tools and work areas.
  • Handle materials efficiently within the job site.
  • Execute painting techniques including washes, glazes, textures, priming, base coating, and clear coating.
  • Perform repetitive tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Possess a basic understanding of theming related to rockwork and character design.
Level II: Hourly Rate of $24.00

In addition to the above responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a foundational knowledge of color mixing and small-scale theme painting techniques.
  • Exhibit proficiency in materials, tools, and painting techniques.
  • Apply expertise in product specifications and craftsmanship to achieve scenic color treatments on various mediums.
  • Interpret client renderings and assist in creating samples or models as required.
Level III: Hourly Rate of $27.00
  • Expertly mix colors and washes for full-scale scenic finishes.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of product specifications and craftsmanship in scenic painting.
  • Manage inventory of paint and materials, ensuring adequate supplies.
  • Train others in specialized painting techniques.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills and Attributes:

Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of verifiable experience in artistic painting or drawing.
  • Previous experience in a physically demanding role or construction.
  • Strong understanding of painting machinery and techniques.
  • Proven proficiency in various painting methods.
  • Ability to replicate techniques using approved materials and tools.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Dependable and punctual with a willingness to learn.
  • Respect for tools and materials, demonstrating a commitment to quality.
  • Enthusiastic and hardworking with a desire to share knowledge.
Ideal Candidate:
