We are looking for a highly experienced individual with a strong background in artistic ability related to painting and drawing.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in the theming industry and a proven track record of creating high-quality scenic and theming finishes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for mixing colors and washes, creating wood, metal, and aging/distressing of various materials, and applying scenic color treatments to emulate natural environment components and artwork requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mixing colors and washes to achieve desired effects
  • Creating wood, metal, and aging/distressing of various materials
  • Applying scenic color treatments to emulate natural environment components and artwork requirements
  • Ordering paint, art materials, tools, and equipment
  • Training others in specialized procedures and techniques

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in artistic ability related to painting and drawing
  • Previous experience in construction or capable of highly physical work
  • Strong knowledge of painting machinery and techniques
  • Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge of painting techniques
  • Ability to absorb and reproduce techniques and procedures using approved materials and tools
  • Strong time management and planning skills
  • Ability to be punctual and dependable
  • Display willingness to learn new skills and painting methods
  • A personal value system demonstrably consistent with organizational values
  • Show proper care and respect for personal and company tools and materials
  • Must be enthusiastic, hardworking, desire to learn and ready to share their knowledge
