About the role at Global Channel Management:

**Bank Risk Manager** is a critical position that requires a unique blend of skills and expertise.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• **Contract Negotiation**: Negotiate contracts with business partners to ensure standard terms and conditions are included, aligning with the bank's risk framework.

• **Risk Management Framework**: Develop and maintain a robust risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks.

• **Finalization Skills**: Ensure timely finalization of contracts and risk management processes, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

• **Banking Expertise**: Possess in-depth knowledge of banking operations, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

• **Contract Review**: Review and analyze contracts to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with the bank's risk framework.

• **Risk Oversight**: Provide risk oversight and guidance to business owners, ensuring effective risk management practices are implemented.

• **Risk Reporting**: Generate, analyze, and utilize risk reports to identify potential risks and provide timely escalation of breaches as required by the Risk Appetite Framework (RAF).

• **Internal Controls**: Assist in the review and enhancement of internal controls, ensuring control testing is in place and results are in line with the Control Standards.

• **Risk Collaboration**: Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to assess impact and provide education on current and emerging issues and regulatory requirements.

• **Risk Governance**: Maintain a strong understanding of business operations, risks, controls, and related laws and regulatory guidance, ensuring effective risk governance practices are implemented.

**Requirements:**

• Strong understanding of banking operations, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent contract negotiation and finalization skills.

• Ability to analyze and interpret risk reports and identify potential risks.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and key stakeholders.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
