About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at Appian Corporation. As a key member of our Public Sector team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing leading-edge solutions that leverage our platform technology to drive business value for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative solutions that integrate Appian's platform technology with our customers' unique business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical success and efficiency, including advising on development practices, program management, and governance.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to our customers, providing guidance on the technical design, architecture, and implementation of Appian solutions.
  • Support the sales cycle by creating high-value, differentiated solutions that integrate and define program and project management disciplines with a compelling technical solution and delivery roadmap.
  • Drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales and capture process, working closely with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for the Appian platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience advising customers on design and implementation of government cloud computing platforms.
  • At least 10 years of multi-tier application design and architecture experience.
  • Familiarity with accrediting IT solutions under the federal government's Risk Management Framework is preferred.
  • Ability to identify and lead the creation of market offerings and lead the formulation of corporate capabilities and intellectual property.
