Job Summary

The Event Security Team Lead will report directly to the Director of Security, ensuring the well-being and safety of employees, tenants, and patrons at the CFG Bank Arena. This vital role is part of the Arena's safety and guest service experience team, requiring a positive attitude and appearance.

This position offers an hourly wage of $22.00 and provides benefits, including a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching for PT roles. The job posting will remain active until 12.31.2024.

CFG Bank Arena is a reimagined, world-class concert and entertainment venue, boasting over 13,000 seats. This premier destination showcases $200MM+ in renovations, including modernized acoustics, state-of-the-art suites, and exclusive club levels. Located in Baltimore's heart, the venue offers a new exterior façade, green scaping, and enhanced lighting, providing the ultimate entertainment experience. With 120+ shows annually, CFG Bank Arena will unite fans with memories old and new, hosting the hottest artists on the planet.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
  2. Possess a positive attitude and facilitate teamwork and respect among co-workers.
  3. Welcome guests, provide directions, and answer any questions that may arise.
  4. Monitor, patrol, secure areas of the arena, and check/monitor credentials.
  5. Provide assistance to guests with special needs or wheelchair access.
  6. Resolve guest complaints quickly and exceed guests' expectations.
  7. Enforce building policies and event procedures.
  8. Maintain order and ensure crowd safety.
  9. Assist and direct guests in various situations, including emergencies.
  10. Perform wanding of patrons and monitor entry of patrons through metal detectors.
  11. Communicate efficiently and clearly with co-workers/supervisors.
  12. Follow all incident procedure protocols and documentation when necessary.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities in a satisfactory manner, working flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays, depending on the event schedule.
  2. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
  3. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Working Conditions
  1. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays, required.
  2. Extensive time spent with moderate to loud noises.
  3. Fluctuating temperatures, including hot and cold conditions, external and internal facility exposure.
  4. Frequent bending, standing for long periods, and walking of the building, including climbing stairs.
  5. Exposure to flashing lights.
