About the Role

HonorHealth is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining stockroom inventory accuracy, supporting advanced receiving functions, and maintaining supply PAR areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control inventory levels of the stockroom, including requisitioning, issuing, crediting, and adjusting of medical supplies and other materials.
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain various records and reports.
  • Perform periodic stockroom and PAR 5s audits and ensure stock levels align with demand.
  • Conduct inventory control, receiving, coordinating outbound shipments, and generating purchase requisitions to procure supplies in accordance with established HonorHealth policies.
  • Coordinate all supply chain steps in collaboration with Purchasing and Sourcing to maintain stockroom inventory.
  • Collaborate with peer coordinators across the network to mitigate backorders.
  • Adjust reorder points and quantities as demand fluctuates.
  • Track supply usage patterns and make recommendations to department director regarding changes to minimum and maximum quantity adjustments to keep stock levels optimal per usage and contain costs.
  • Support Nursing product inquiries and services.
  • Coordinate Procure to Pay (P2P) receipt exceptions resolution.
  • Execute project plans for par enhancements, conversions, and space optimization.
  • Communicate and document inventory returns.
  • Make appropriate adjustments to the database.
  • Prepare returns to vendors due to mis-shipments, damage, manufacturer defects, etc.
  • Identify and account for obsolete, scrap, and unused material; collect for disposal and coordinate donations.
  • Serve as a resource to supply chain/materials distribution personnel.
  • Ensure daily tasks are kept on track.
  • Report delays or issues to department director.
  • Serve as a trainer to orient staff to work area.
  • Prepare for and take part in all inventory counts, including periodic cycle counts, variance investigation, and reconciliation with General Ledger balance.
  • Share in the responsibility for maintenance, organization, and cleanliness of stockroom.
  • Rotate stock in accordance with First In, First Out accounting rule.
  • Ensure that all inventory control/stock control adjustments are accurately documented and processed daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • 3 years logistics-related operations, including warehousing, inventory control, or shipping and receiving. Required.
Work Environment

This position is located at Osborn Medical Center and is a regular full-time position.
