HonorHealth is seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Thompson Peak Med Center. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
- Assume responsibility for tasks or procedures as assigned.
- Perform data entry operations using appropriate hospital software package.
- Transport patients to and from the exam room and assist them into position using safe patient handling techniques and equipment.
- Perform Radiology procedures and observe patient during procedure to ensure patient's safety and comfort.
- Administer contrast materials as required.
- Initiate emergency response to contrast reaction as needed.
- Obtain and evaluate images for technical quality assurance factors.
- Utilize RIS, PACS and other ancillary image management systems as needed.
- Assist in coordination of daily workflow for the department's activities.
- Maintain equipment in efficient operating order.
- Perform and document all required quality control testing.
- Contact service for repair and maintenance as directed.
- Rotate throughout the department as staffing and volume dictates.
- Participate in orientation, training, and in-servicing of staff, as needed.
- Maintain an orderly, clean and safe environment of patients and staff in assigned area.
- Maintain stock and inventory as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED completion of an ARRT accredited program.
- Successful completion of radiologic training.
- ARRT (R) credential and licensure.
- CRTLC and CRT license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
