Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist/Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Palm Medical Centers. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing patient flow, and ensuring a positive experience for our patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding patient service and ensure a positive experience for patients and visitors.
  • Manage patient flow, including scheduling appointments, checking-in/out patients, and obtaining accurate patient information.
  • Verify patient insurance and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform clerical functions, including data entry and phone calls.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including waiting and patient areas.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of visitor arrival and direct visitors to the correct area.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette skills.
  • Ability to use computers to enter information and manage patient records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to connect with patients and make them feel comfortable.
  • Patience and presence of mind.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • May require prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
  • Ability to move/lift up to 20 pounds at times.
