Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HR Security Officer to join our team at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security and Safety
    • Patrol the resort grounds and buildings to prevent and detect any security breaches or incidents.
    • Respond to emergency calls and alarms in a timely and professional manner.
    • Enforce gaming regulations and ensure compliance with internal control structures.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and employees, responding to their needs and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
    • Assist guests with directions and information about the resort and its amenities.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with other departments and team members to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; six months to one year of job-related experience preferred.
    • Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience a plus.
  • Physical Demands
    • Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to perform duties.
    • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to second-hand smoke and biohazardous fluids.
    • May be subject to high stress environments and hostile guest interactions.
