Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing & Recruitment Coordinator to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our communications and marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans and campaigns to recruit students for our nine degree programs, with a focus on the Master of Public Health degree.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase online visibility and drive organic search traffic
  • Manage the school's presence at regional and national recruiting events, both virtual and in-person
  • Oversee the online recruitment platform and school ambassador program
  • Collaborate with the school's Office of Student Affairs, Alumni Relations, and degree program directors to meet recruitment goals
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, strategies, and best practices
  • Intermediate knowledge of social media applications and its role in marketing programs
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the campus center and its achievements, mission, vision, goals, objectives, and infrastructure
  • Experience in higher education recruiting
  • Graduate degree in higher education, marketing, or related area
Working Conditions

This is a hybrid work schedule position, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Travel may be required to conferences or recruitment events, local and national.
