Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Sales Associate to become a part of our innovative team. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales for Strategic Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the field sales team in achieving the designated territory sales targets.
  • Coordinate with the extended sales team to advance project workflows aimed at closing sales opportunities.
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts under the guidance of the Account Executive.
  • Conduct research on target accounts and formulate strategies for market penetration.
  • Establish connections and build relationships with key decision-makers and daily contacts within customer organizations.
  • Analyze customer data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Support the creation of financial ROI analyses and develop proposal materials.
  • Address customer objections effectively, linking Bloom's value proposition to customer needs.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction within assigned accounts and across the territory sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • A strong interest in alternative energy, technology, and sustainability.
  • Five years of overall experience, with two to five years in enterprise sales preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of financial models and energy market dynamics that drive customer value.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent financial acumen and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adept at diagnosing and analyzing complex issues, synthesizing data to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Proven track record of generating and advancing qualified sales opportunities.
  • Articulate, proactive, and persistent in customer engagement.
  • Professional demeanor in appearance, communication, and presentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with formal sales methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt and grow within the sales or marketing profession as Bloom Energy evolves.
  • Composed under pressure, capable of making informed decisions with limited information.
  • Passionate about our customers, solutions, and team dynamics.
