Job Summary

The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department, ensuring the smooth operation of various HR tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update electronic documents, including job descriptions, department procedures, company policies, and employee handbooks.
  • Upload team member documentation to the HRIS system and company SharePoint sites.
  • Support the setup of new site startups, including tasks such as ordering supplies and signage, assisting with website builds, and applying for local ordinance permits.
  • Schedule candidate interviews, new hire orientations, onboarding, and training programs.
  • Request employee background checks, prepare new hire documentation, and load new employee data into the timekeeping system.
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and submit for payment.
  • Prepare written correspondence on behalf of HR team members as needed.
  • Prepare hard copy compliance mailings to all company team members as needed.
  • Build management reporting as needed.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist with the implementation of new projects, including HRIS, Workforce Management, and other initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and UKG is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience performing administrative tasks or in an HR Department is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Act as a reliable and supportive team member.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
