Position Overview

Are you experienced in managing community resources for varied demographics? Do you possess a strong history of guiding a team and enhancing departmental efficiency?

As a Clinical Supervisor at Council on Aging (COA), you will play a crucial role in assisting the elderly and individuals with disabilities to maintain their independence and safety in their residences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee departmental requirements, ensuring compliance with contracts, productivity levels, staff performance, and training initiatives.
  • Implement operational modifications aimed at improving performance.
  • Guarantee that all necessary documentation, reports, and service plans are completed in accordance with contractual obligations and COA standards.
  • Lead and manage various projects effectively.
  • Gather, assess, and generate reports based on program requirements.
  • Evaluate service delivery for both effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure satisfaction of individuals and caregivers with all services rendered.
  • Confirm that services are billed appropriately to Medicare, Medicaid, and other funding sources.
  • Authorize services that align with caregiver needs while adhering to approved budget limits.
  • Demonstrate the ability to draft, interpret, and apply policies to fulfill contract stipulations.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in good standing with a minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in Home and Community-Based Services, along with two (2) years in a supervisory capacity or equivalent leadership roles.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to various counties as required.
  • Capability to engage with diverse populations and programs.
  • Familiarity with community resources.
  • Understanding of issues affecting the elderly and/or disabled populations.
  • Knowledge of individual, family, and social systems, along with their functioning.
  • Proficiency in employing various conflict resolution strategies.
  • Empathetic, tolerant, and skilled in interviewing.
  • Aptitude for collaboration and problem-solving within a self-directed team environment.
