Position Overview

Are you well-versed in the available community services for various demographics? Do you possess a solid history of guiding a team and managing departmental efficiency?

As a Clinical Supervisor at Council on Aging (COA), you will play a crucial role in assisting the elderly and individuals with disabilities to live safely and comfortably in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess departmental requirements, including compliance with contracts, productivity levels, performance metrics, and staff training initiatives.
  • Implement operational modifications aimed at enhancing performance.
  • Guarantee that all necessary documentation, reports, and service plans are completed in accordance with contract stipulations and COA standards.
  • Lead and manage various projects effectively.
  • Gather, evaluate, and generate reports based on program requirements.
  • Oversee service delivery to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure satisfaction of individuals and caregivers with all services rendered.
  • Verify that services are billed correctly to Medicare, Medicaid, third-party insurers, and other funding entities.
  • Authorize services that align with caregiver needs and stay within the approved budget.
  • Demonstrate the ability to draft, interpret, and apply policies to fulfill contract obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in good standing with a minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in Home and Community-Based Services and at least two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary within the serviced counties.
  • Ability to engage with diverse populations and programs.
  • Familiarity with community resources.
  • Understanding of issues affecting the elderly and/or disabled individuals.
  • Knowledge of individual, family, and social systems and their functioning.
  • Capability to employ various conflict resolution strategies.
  • Empathetic, tolerant, and skilled in interviewing.
  • Aptitude for collaboration and problem-solving in a self-directed team setting.
