Medical Device Specialist

Advanced Pain Care is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Care Coordinator/Clinical Navigator to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare facilities and processes, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present well in a formal business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule patients for pre-op, post-op, and follow-up office visits related to spinal cord stimulation
- Conduct phone follow-up calls and maintain accurate phone journals for patients who have had spinal cord stimulation implants
- Reconcile weekly cases with medical device representatives
- Prepare patient materials for procedures
- Collaborate with scheduling and pre-authorization teams regarding upcoming procedures
- Reprogram patient devices as necessary
- Adhere to all Advanced Pain Care and departmental policies
- Display regular and predictable attendance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field, preferably nursing, physical therapy, or occupational therapy
- Previous medical sales experience highly preferred
- Strong understanding of healthcare facilities and processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to present well in a formal business environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Working Conditions:
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a medical office environment, with occasional evening or weekend work. Must be able to drive to various locations and lift up to 25 pounds.
