Reusable Medical Device Coordinator

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Reusable Medical Device Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of reusable medical devices throughout our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for the management of reusable medical devices.
- Provide education and training to healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of reusable medical devices.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and resolve issues related to reusable medical devices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of reusable medical devices.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on reusable medical devices.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal policies related to reusable medical devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
