Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability
  • Build strong relationships with donors to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Ensure the confidentiality of donor and staff information
  • Provide education and counseling to donors regarding general health and potential hazards
  • Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events
  • Perform evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability
  • Assist in employee training and development
  • Administer employee health programs, including the Hepatitis Vaccine program

Requirements:

  • Current licensure and certification as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or Emergency Medical Technician in the state of employment
  • Current CPR certification
