Job Overview
We're seeking a Care Service Manager to join our team at Sunrise at Parma. As a key member of our dining room team, you will be responsible for providing excellent dining and table services to residents in our community's dining rooms and designated areas. Your primary goal will be to ensure that every resident enjoys a memorable dining experience, tailored to their unique preferences and needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a role model in providing exceptional dining service to our residents
- Assist with training new team members to maintain high standards of service
- Maintain the proper setup of dining rooms, ensuring that everything is clean, tidy, and ready for use
- Assist in planning and executing special events, such as theme dinners or holiday celebrations
- Monitor and maintain accurate checklists to ensure the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area
- Conduct regular table top inventories to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Handle all food and beverages according to sanitary procedures and standards
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding food service
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making abilities
