We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Field Analyst/PPC Field Representative IV to join our team at Underwriting Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive studies of fire protection systems and procedures in the Grand Rapids, MI area.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with clients to conduct, analyze, and document studies of fire department equipment, staffing, training, and geographic distribution.
- Complete verifications in the office and in the field, and plan trips to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely completion of work.
- Conduct studies to determine complex and moderately complex community hazard mitigation gradings as assigned, and prepare appropriate reports in accordance with corporate standards.
- May assist in coordinating meetings with local officials in small group and/or workshop formats, and may offer information or advice as requested.
- Provide customer support for Verisk products through on-site visits as needed.
- May serve as a mentor and trainer to less experienced staff as needed.
- Maintain corporate standards of quality, timeliness, productivity, and customer service.
- Maintain CHM equipment and supplies in accordance with Verisk policies.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of fire protection systems and procedures, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.
