Position Overview:
As a Lead Integration and Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in unifying diverse tools and systems to establish a streamlined and effective technology framework for our organization. Your proficiency in integrating platforms such as Salesforce, Snowflake, AWS services, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and Business Rules Engines will be crucial in ensuring seamless data flow across our organization's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
Integration Strategy:
  • Formulate and uphold a detailed integration strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Identify areas for process enhancement, automation, and data unification through integrations.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ascertain integration requirements and priorities.

Integration Design and Architecture:
  • Architect robust and scalable integration solutions that interconnect Salesforce, Snowflake, AWS services, ETL tools, and Business Rules Engines.
  • Assess and select suitable integration patterns and technologies to fulfill business requirements.
  • Guarantee data consistency, integrity, and security across interconnected systems.

ETL Job Configuration:
  • Establish ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes utilizing cloud-based ETL tools like AWS Glue, Apache NiFi, or similar technologies.
  • Specify data extraction, transformation, and loading criteria to support data integration objectives.
  • Enhance ETL jobs for optimal performance and efficiency.

API and Middleware Integration:
  • Create and sustain APIs to enable seamless communication between various systems.
  • Implement middleware solutions to orchestrate data flows and manage integrations effectively.
  • Ensure proper error handling and monitoring of integration processes.

Data Mapping and Transformation:
  • Establish data mapping and transformation protocols to ensure compatibility between systems.
  • Implement data cleansing and validation processes as part of the transformation workflow.
  • Monitor and resolve data transformation challenges.

Security and Compliance:
  • Enforce security protocols to safeguard data during transmission and storage.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability evaluations for integration components.

Performance Optimization:
  • Track integration performance and proactively identify bottlenecks or areas for enhancement.
  • Refine integration processes for speed, scalability, and resource efficiency.
  • Implement caching and data synchronization strategies as necessary.

Documentation and Training:
  • Generate comprehensive documentation for integration architectures, designs, and configurations.
  • Provide training and support to development teams and end-users on integration best practices.

Vendor Management:
  • Assess and manage relationships with third-party vendors offering integration-related services or tools.
  • Stay updated on enhancements and new features from integration tool providers.

Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and business analysts.
  • Communicate integration progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience as an integration architect focusing on Salesforce, Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouse), AWS, ETL tools, and Business Rules Engines.
  • In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, API design, and data integration methodologies.
  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Snowflake, AWS) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python), database systems, and middleware technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based integration platforms and services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Robust project management and leadership skills.
