Job Overview


We are in search of highly skilled and motivated Cloud Solutions Architects who possess a unique blend of design expertise and troubleshooting capabilities, particularly with WebLogic Clusters in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Exceptional communication skills, especially at the executive level, are essential for this role.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within large-scale enterprise software teams and will have been involved in deploying services across major cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure. This position is well-suited for individuals who thrive in complex environments and can navigate customer interactions effectively.


Key Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in architecting solutions for large enterprise systems in cloud environments.
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with a diverse range of Oracle products and technologies, including SaaS applications (ERP, WMS, HCM, etc.), Oracle Fusion Middleware, WebLogic, and Database products.


Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and familiarity with cloud deployment tools such as Ansible and Terraform are crucial. Candidates should also have experience in complex software development and integration projects, along with full life-cycle product development experience.


Responsibilities:
- Design and architect solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to address intricate customer challenges.
- Influence the design, capacity planning, and operational aspects of customer solutions utilizing Oracle technologies, including WebLogic Mid-Tiers and Exadata DB instances on OCI.
- Engage with customers at both executive and architectural levels to address priority situations promptly.


Ensure the smooth daily operation of production and middleware applications, providing administrative support for new implementations, upgrades, and migrations as necessary. Play a pivotal role in designing high availability and disaster recovery solutions around OCI cloud services.


Lead and motivate cross-functional Oracle teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions for key clients. Communicate complex technical solutions effectively to customer executives and internal stakeholders.


Conduct performance, scalability, and reliability analyses, along with database query tuning. Collaborate with architects and development managers across Oracle product teams to define requirements and conduct detailed engineering analyses from a data perspective.


Continuously improve service deployment infrastructure through automation and the latest cloud capabilities to enhance agility, reliability, and observability. Identify and escalate potential issues with solution design or client resources that may hinder delivery expectations.
