Job Title: Team Lead - Mortgage Loan Processing/Account Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time, experienced Team Lead for our Third Party Origination Operations Account Management team in Plano, TX. The Team Lead will be a subject matter expert and first-line supervisor for the account management/processing department.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to the team of loan processors
  • Coach and develop loan processors to improve their skills and performance
  • Monitor job performance of loan processors and oversee processor pipelines
  • Assist on loan files when processors are out of the office
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, underwriting, and closing on escalations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes
  • Spot check loan files for quality submissions to underwriting and provide feedback
  • Maintain a scaled-down pipeline of 5 to 10 loans
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years working in the home lending industry
  • Minimum of 3 years as a Loan Processor required
  • Minimum of 2 years team lead experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of mortgage compliance regulations
  • Experience with Conventional loans
  • The ideal candidate will have a self-starter mentality with the ability to solve open-ended business challenges

  • The ideal candidate will know how to collaborate with team members in a remote environment while also working independently with minimal supervision
