Role Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated Mortgage Loan Officer to join our rapidly growing origination team. In this role, you'll be responsible for originating mortgage loans, providing exceptional customer service, and building relationships with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate mortgage loans and manage incoming calls from customers
  • Provide timely follow-up and courteous professional correspondence to ensure exceptional customer service
  • Establish and build relationships with customers and partners, including real estate agents
  • Analyze clients' needs to ensure compliance and maximum customer satisfaction
  • Consult with borrowers and guide them through the loan process from inquiry to close
  • Ensure successful completion of all assigned Mortgage Loan Officer Training and Licensing activities
  • Understand and comply with current requirements of applicable federal and state laws and regulations
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of available loan programs, including FHA, VA, Conventional, ARM, Jumbo, etc.
  • Successfully structure loans for fulfillment partners to underwrite, process, and fund
  • Collaborate with team members and share best practices
Requirements:
  • Active NMLS Loan Originator with multiple state licenses, or a Loan Originator working under a bank license
  • Successfully completed the 20-hr SAFE Pre-licensing Education and passed the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test - National Component with Uniform State Content
  • 1+ years of mortgage sales experience
  • 2+ years of sales, call center, and customer service experience highly preferred
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Financial/business background preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
