Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Faculty Support Specialist to join our team at TalentBurst, an Inc 5000 company. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to multiple faculties in the Department of Psychology, executing a wide range of technical systems in support of teaching and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a wide range of clerical support, including composing and editing letters, reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Prepare copy for publication or submission of grant proposals and/or reports, and assist with copying, printing, scanning, faxing, filing, and shredding materials related to lab operations.
  • Create and maintain lab filing systems, and use multiple technical applications including word processing, database management, spreadsheets, graphics, and presentation software.
  • Update faculty, lab, and/or departmental websites, and serve as the principal administrative contact and source of information for students, staff, faculty, and external customers.
  • Answer and route phone calls, mail, and e-mail messages, and handle wide-range information dissemination.
  • Prepare and produce financial reports using online financial systems, and assist in preparation of spreadsheets for grant budgets and track expenditures.
  • Purchase and maintain inventory of supplies for office or lab, and may assist in onboarding, training, scheduling, and distributing work of students, casuals, or temporary staff.
Requirements
  • Business training or college degree, or equivalent education plus experience in an office environment.
  • Three plus years of office administration and customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills, solid writing, editing, and proofreading skills, and excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with diverse constituency.
  • Ability to work across teams and with a variety of projects, and excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests.
