About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of administrative procedures, and proficiency in MS Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the department director's calendar.
  • Compose correspondence, type and proofread reports, letters, memos, forms, and statistical charts.
  • Compile data for statistical and financial reports, maintaining various statistical records.
  • Process personnel, payroll, and purchasing information, ordering and maintaining office supplies.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED, with completion of related training or college courses.
  • Progressively responsible experience providing administrative support.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Able to learn other software programs as required.
