Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Inventory Allocation Specialist to join our team at Kirkland's. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient allocation of merchandise across our store base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sales allocation operations to achieve sales and inventory targets and service levels
  • Coordinate with store personnel, merchandising, and inventory planning teams to ensure assortment needs are met
  • Act as the subject matter expert for inventory movement and flow through the Kirkland's supply chain
  • Provide sound decision-making on outbound priorities and manage store inventory levels
  • Perform sales reviews and assortment plans for seasons and coordinate with inventory planning and merchandising teams
  • Create and analyze reporting and size selling data to identify improvement opportunities and implement allocation strategies
  • Maintain good relationships with different departments to contribute to business strategies and share best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 or more years of experience in a related field
  • Analytical experience, understanding of retail math, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Retail store experience a plus
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented individual with strong communication skills
