Vascular Ultrasound Specialist Job Description

At USA Clinics Group, we are seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Specialist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities and other studies as needed, while balancing patient needs and maintaining efficient office workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound examinations to create a Venous Flow Map for treatment plan recommendations.
  • Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients.
  • Set up and clean procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms.
  • Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by treatment plans.
  • Adhere to standard time allotments for each exam type.
  • Work with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules.
  • Develop and maintain quality of work and skills through continued education.
  • Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory.

Requirements:

  • Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer certification.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
