Job Summary:

This entry-level position provides administrative support for standing and special committees in the Louisiana House of Representatives. The Committee Administrative Assistant will be responsible for producing accurate committee documents, preparing for and staffing meetings, and maintaining comprehensive and well-organized committee records.

  • Assist in the preparation of committee documents and reports">
  • Provide administrative support for committee meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes">
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date committee records">
  • Back-up and fill-in for other assistants as needed">

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred">
  • One year of experience in a related field or office environment">
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel">
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills">

Benefits and Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $37,990 per year. Benefits for unclassified employees are determined by the individual hiring authority.
