About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Director to join our team at BTC Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for negotiating and managing the Procurement Strategy with top carriers in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize transportation costs and improve supply chain efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including carriers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements
- Manage and analyze data to inform procurement decisions and drive business results
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in road, ground, and rail transportation procurement within the US
- Proven track record of success in negotiating and managing procurement contracts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and drive business insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary up to $170,000 base + 17.5% bonus DOE
- Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days required on-site per week
