Job Summary

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Your expertise will be essential in selecting appropriate imaging techniques, operating console and peripheral hardware, and entering and monitoring patient data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and operate the most suitable imaging techniques to produce high-quality images.
  • Monitor patient data and transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce transparency.
  • Develop film in an automatic processor and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision and work collaboratively with the team.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in the area of specialty is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) is required.
  • CPR/BLS certification is required upon hire.
