MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain high-quality images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
Key Responsibilities- Select and operate the appropriate imaging techniques and console and peripheral hardware.
- Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor.
- Work under general supervision, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Perform a variety of tasks, including selecting imaging techniques and operating equipment.
- Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.
- A Bachelor's degree in the area of specialty is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Requires registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
- CPR/BLS certification is required upon hire.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
