Lean Process Optimization Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Lean Process Engineer to optimize our manufacturing practices and drive continuous improvement. As a champion of efficiency, you'll implement and improve processes using core lean principles, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and optimizing manufacturing layouts to create a smooth workflow and minimize delays
  • Partnering with various teams to ensure lean practices are effectively implemented, leading to reduced lead times
  • Developing and delivering training programs to empower personnel with lean manufacturing knowledge and skills
  • Conducting time studies and implementing solutions to shorten cycle times and increase production output
  • Tracking data trends and leveraging insights to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
  • Actively participating in Kaizen events and other initiatives focused on ongoing process optimization
  • Investigating and troubleshooting manufacturing issues, proposing solutions to prevent future occurrences

Requirements include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
  • At least 2 years of experience in Process Engineering
  • A proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Six Sigma methodologies (ideally Black Belt certification or equivalent)
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing, industrial, or assembly processes
  • A history of successfully implementing cost-saving projects, achieving significant targets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
  • A passion for Lean Manufacturing and its potential to revolutionize operations
