Job Title: Database Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Database Specialist to join our team at CompQsoft, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with experience in Oracle, Ingres, and/or SQL Server. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring appropriate linkages to existing databases and data processing systems, as well as implementing and tuning databases to meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
Ensure adequate security and recovery procedures are included in all database designs.
Monitor database transactions and perform database implementation and database tuning.
Determine data storage and access requirements.
Determine file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures.
Control view and access to databases.
Assist with promotions, database, and technical refreshes.
Perform evaluation of current IT operations to determine multi-year projections for personnel, hardware, and software.

Requirements:
Two years of database administrator experience.
Experience in Oracle, Ingres, and/or SQL Server.
IAT-II Level or IAT-I Level certifications.
Strong oral communication and written comprehension capabilities.
