Salary: $53,000 - $58,000 per year

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a growth-minded professional to join our team as a Chef Manager/Kitchen Operations Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of the food service operation, adhering to client culture and guidelines, health department regulations, and company standards.

You will motivate, train, develop, and direct staff to achieve goals and objectives, solve problems professionally, rapidly, and fairly, and maintain a working relationship with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full culinary management of food service operations, including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Supervision and development of staff
  • P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
  • Financial management and analysis
  • Menu development, cost controls, purchasing, and inventory with a focus on sourcing local food products
Requirements
  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings with inventory and purchasing knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking or high-volume catering needed
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
