Senior Living Community Relations Specialist

Role Expectations:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Community Relations Coordinator to enhance the experience of our residents and their families at Harvard Square by Cogir. This role is perfect for individuals with a background in relational sales and a genuine passion for serving seniors. Candidates with experience in retirement living, hospitality, real estate, or social work are encouraged to apply. This entry-level position requires exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a seamless transition for new residents into our community.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of our services and offerings to effectively communicate with potential residents and referral sources.
- Assist the Community Relations Director in executing strategies to generate leads and improve occupancy rates.
- Engage with prospects through various channels, converting inquiries into tours and securing deposits.
- Conduct community tours and provide essential marketing information to prospective residents and their families.
- Support the preparation of sales reports and marketing analytics as required.
- Maintain accurate records in our Customer Relationship Management software.
- Foster strong relationships among residents, staff, and families to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Assist in organizing special events and activities within the community.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales and marketing within retirement housing, hospitality, or healthcare preferred.
- Strong team player with a commitment to serving seniors.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work flexible hours as needed.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with CRM software, particularly Yardi, is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or higher preferred.
