Essential Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Helpdesk, Service Desk, or Desktop support capacity, specifically in a remote support environment.

Proficient troubleshooting skills across various devices including phones, printers, and laptops.

Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes is required.

Experience with Active Directory, particularly in creating and modifying policies.

Knowledge of SCCM is advantageous, especially in remote control applications.

Desirable Qualifications:

- ITIL Foundation certification.

- Previous experience in the Banking or Financial sector.

- A+ or Network+ certifications.

Role Responsibilities:

This position involves managing escalated support tickets that require advanced technical expertise and access rights beyond level 1 support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Timely resolution of escalated tickets.
  • Ownership of complex technical issues.
  • Management of chat queues and unassigned tickets.
  • Identification and documentation of process gaps in ticket handling.
  • Analysis of documentation deficiencies that may have hindered first-contact resolution.
  • Taking inbound service desk calls during peak periods as necessary.

This role is crucial for ensuring efficient technical support and enhancing overall service delivery.
