Clinical Nurse II

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team in the Preop/Post Anesthesia Care Unit at UNC Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to coordinate and deliver care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to promote optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- One year of nursing experience, with a focus on critical care or perioperative nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS/PALS certification (within 6 months of hire).
