Your contributions will be essential in facilitating month-end closing activities, ensuring precise financial reporting, and enhancing operational processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic accounting leadership and develop effective accounting processes to ensure compliance with relevant policies, local regulations, and US GAAP.
  • Support daily financial operations encompassing revenue, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, cost management, and inventory accounting.
  • Assist in the analysis of technical accounting matters and apply appropriate accounting treatments, with a focus on revenue recognition standards.
  • Facilitate both month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations, deferred revenue schedules, and journal entries.
  • Deliver timely financial insights to company leadership to support informed decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in financial audits and fulfill investor reporting obligations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability within the accounting department.
  • Manage key external relationships, including offshore accounting teams and auditors.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Embrace a growth mindset to define, monitor, document, and implement internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the Controller and tax professionals to manage compliance activities.
  • Engage in special projects within Accounting and Finance to support business growth.
  • Ensure timely consolidation and reporting of financial information.
  • Assist the Controller with international banking operations.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new and existing team members.
  • Support the Controller with process improvements and special projects.
  • Participate in additional projects or analyses as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or a related financial role.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A proactive approach to professional growth and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in both startup and established corporate environments.
  • Ability to collaborate across various departments and regions.
  • Experience in agile work settings, demonstrating adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP or similar systems.
  • Public accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Experience in SaaS, subscription-based models, or IoT sectors is a plus.
