Process Engineer

Pelletron, a leading supplier of dust removal systems, is seeking a skilled Process & Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the start-up and technical service of our pneumatic conveying and dedusting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide start-up commissioning services for assigned projects
- Travel to vendor and customer locations as required
- Resolve customer complaints related to assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Establish relationships with customers and ensure equipment and systems are installed correctly
- Review technical documentation and develop start-up plans
- Create written reports to document results of start-up visits
- Sizing and selection of equipment in accordance with specifications
- Support engineering department concerning process-related questions
- Ensure technical documents meet specifications and contract requirements
- Participate in Kick-Off meetings and produce AutoCAD Plant 3D models and drawings
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering (or related field)
- Five years of related experience and/or training in engineered systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products and AutoCAD 2D and Plant 3D software
- Ability to read, interpret, and develop documents
- Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively with vendors, customers, and employees
- Experience with SAP and ability to travel to vendors and customer premises
