Latino/e Culturally Responsive Consultant

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and their families.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Multnomah County - Health Department - Behavioral Health Division to provide mental health consultation services to Albina Head Start, Albina Home Visitors, and Portland Public School Head Start administrators, staff, and families.
- Develop and implement culturally responsive strategies to promote healthy social-emotional development in children, particularly those from Latino/e and Spanish-speaking backgrounds.
- Conduct mental health screenings and provide individualized support plans for young children referred by agency staff.
- Work closely with community agencies and natural support systems to increase awareness of and access to mental health resources for Latino/e and Spanish-speaking individuals.
- A competitive salary range of $63,000 - $83,000 per year, depending on experience.
