Lead Financial Analyst, Corporate Planning

We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Financial Analyst to become a vital part of our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is essential in steering long-term growth and enhancing financial performance through effective forecasting, strategic planning, and insightful reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will:
- Facilitate the weekly forecasting process, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of key profit and loss drivers, and make necessary adjustments based on updated insights.
- Collaborate closely with business partners to gather inputs and analyze results, identifying key business drivers for variances.
- Assist in the budgeting and long-term planning processes, including setting financial targets, communicating major updates, and generating high-level summaries.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, focusing on business performance, inventory trends, and balance sheet data.
- Provide ongoing analytical support to influence strategic direction and guide discussions at the senior management and Board levels.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and design analyses to address specific questions.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Advanced technical skills, particularly in Excel and financial modeling, along with proficiency in financial systems and applications.
- A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, especially in dynamic environments.
- Unquestionable integrity and professionalism, particularly in handling confidential information.
A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in an analytical discipline, with a strong academic record. A CFA or MBA is advantageous. Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and planning, ideally within a retail context.
Work EnvironmentThis role necessitates regular in-office presence for team interactions, meetings, and collaborative efforts, although a combination of in-office and remote work may be utilized effectively.
