About the Role

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care & Imaging (55%):
    • Produce diagnostic images in assigned areas and perform quality control tasks as assigned.
    • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination.
    • Perform mammography examinations according to a high-quality standard to service patients and referring physicians.
    • Promote and motivate good customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors, and other company personnel.
    • Maintain and adjust equipment.
  • Department Support (40%):
    • Participate in staff meetings with employee involvement.
    • Maintain positive work relationships with radiologists and other physicians referring to the company.
    • Assist in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual.
    • Accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information Software.
    • Maintain an orderly and clean work area to promote good safety habits for patients and co-workers.
    • Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise.
  • Additional Responsibilities (5%):
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
