Key Responsibilities- Oversight of CRADs, IRADs, projects, and program support
- Perform individual contributor workload in the leader's subject matter discipline
- Team with the Section Leader in the execution of Materials and Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Discipline, and Raytheon Engineering goals
- Provide oversight to ensure the accuracy of technical output of each assignment based on data and analyses
- Interface with other organizations across the Raytheon Enterprise
- Typically requires a degree in Ceramics, Chemistry, or Physics and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in depositing thin films by various physical vapor technologies such as DC and RF magnetron sputtering
- Experience in the characterization of thin films by optical, mechanical, and/or electrical methods
- Experience in materials characterization, or production engineering, and/or competency with the use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
- Experience in military applications and/or environments
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Ability to efficiently use MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Broad knowledge of materials science with ability to collaborate with SMEs
- Experience with proposal capture process (development of compliant basis of estimates (BOEs) and white-sheet development
- Expertise in vacuum technology
- Experience with Failure Review Boards and/or failure analysis
- Familiarity with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) Process
